She is passionate about growing teams and hospital culture as well as innovating within care delivery with a concierge approach. Jaclyn graduated from ASU’s W. P. Carey’s School of Business in 2018 with her MBA and MSBA. Jaclyn has been the CEO of Via Linda since the hospital’s opening in 2022.

She joined the Via Linda team January 2024 leading the inpatient and Intake nursing personnel with a focus on safety, compliance, and operations.

He has an extensive background in addiction medicine and brings a thoughtful, patient focused approach to the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. His goal is to provide excellent psychiatric care that is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in trust.

Dr. Mehmud Ahmed is a board-certified psychiatrist currently providing comprehensive psychiatric care at Via Linda Hospital and Valley Hospital. He brings extensive experience across inpatient, outpatient, and consultation-liaison psychiatry, with a strong focus on compassionate, evidence-based treatment.
Dr. Ahmed is actively involved in medical education and has taught and mentored medical students from Midwestern University and Creighton University. He is dedicated to collaboration, professionalism, and the training of future physicians committed to high-quality patient care.

Clinical interests include treatment-resistant psychosis and depression, psychopharmacology, and integrative approaches to mood and anxiety disorders.

Since joining the organization in 2023, she has become one of the primary providers in the Intensive Outpatient Program, where she is known for her approachable style and commitment to inspiring hope, resilience, and meaningful recovery. She approaches care with a strong appreciation for cultural diversity and strives to create an inclusive, respectful, and supportive treatment environment for all patients.

Jewel is an Arizona Native, with over thirty years of extensive experience in the management of health information standards of professional practice in long-term care skilled nursing facilities, behavioral health, and substance use specialty hospitals, with an emphasis in HIPAA Privacy and Security implementation, compliance and continuing education training. Opened three Acute Behavioral Health and Substance Use hospitals in the Maricopa County and one in the Pima County. Exceptional knowledge in clinical health information standards of practice, Arizona state regulations, Federal regulations, Joint Commission accreditation, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services [CMS] and Office of Behavioral Health licensing [OBHL] requirements. Proficient at applying quality assurance and quality improvement processes for all aspects of departmental and interdisciplinary operations with a commitment to excel in customer service satisfaction.

Marsha has extensive experience in outpatient treatment, Marsha specializes in the assessment and treatment of complex mental health conditions, program development, and clinical supervision. She is committed to fostering accessible, culturally responsive care while promoting clinical excellence and organizational growth.

He previously worked in group home settings, where he built a solid foundation in behavioral health and patient care. Luis has been with Via Linda since its inception and was part of the very first new hire orientation. He is deeply passionate about patient safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, and is highly goal-driven consistently willing to do whatever it takes to achieve the goals set before him while supporting both patients and staff.
